Titre : A Journey from ultra-wide to narrow bandgap semiconductors: Diamond, nitrides and arsenides
Résumé : I will take the opportunity of the upcoming NÉEL seminar to officially introduce myself to the institut NÉEL as a new chargé de recherche, appointed in February 2025 in the nanophysics and semiconductors (NPSC) team. I will present the evolution of the research topics and materials that have shaped my career, from diamond to nitrides, and that have now led me to my current project on the epitaxy of arsenides.
In my talk, I will share some of the most interesting results I have obtained over the past few years, including the use of AlGaN nanostructures for ultraviolet light emission, as well as the identification of spontaneous polarization in zincblende III-V semiconductors. Finally, I will introduce my current project on the epitaxy of arsenides: Novel molecular beam epitaxy strategies to produce sources of indistinguishable single photons in the telecom range.
