Titre : An introduction to superconducting quantum circuits architectures for quantum computation
Résumé
In this talk, I will give a brief overview of the working principle of a superconducting quantum processor. In particular, I will focus on the working principle of superconducting qubits and on how to implement quantum operations. I will give an overview of the performances of state-of-the-art quantum processors and their limitations. I will then describe an alternative approach based on highly anharmonic circuits currently pursued at Néel institute that hold the promise to produce better gate fidelities. Finally, I will discuss the prospects of extending the system size of this alternative platform to large scale quantum processors and simulators.
