Résumé : In this presentation I will describe our recent studies on ring-like InAs quantum dots embedded in nanowires, where rotational symmetry and spin-orbit interaction provides an extremely anisotropic Zeeman effect. We find a perfect g-factor suppression for magnetic fields perpendicular to the ring axis, otherwise a huge enhancement. This anisotropy can be lifted by applying electric fields that break the symmetry, thereby allowing g-factor tuning between 0 and ~100. We also report on C2-symmetric quantum rings where the interdot hybridization energy can be controlled by the Aharonov-Bohm flux and relative orbital parity.
