The €50 million funding will enable the development of high-temperature superconductors to meet tomorrow’s energy and societal challenges, particularly with applications in the field of fusion.
The project launch took place on March 31 at Centrale Supélec (Paris-Saclay), in the presence of the CEO of CNRS, the General Administrator of CEA and the 4 project co-sponsors, including Pascal Tixador, MagSup team.
The “applied superconductivity” section of the MagSup team at the laboratory is heavily involved in this project.
