Goals

The Financial Management Department is responsible for the preparation, implementation, execution and control of the NEEL Institute’s budget.

It deals with all financial and accounting acts, in particular the financing linked to the contractual activity of the research teams and poles.

It supports and advises on a daily basis, in the financial field, all the personnel in their scientific activities:
• Scientific events: Symposia, Schools, Workshops … organized by the members of the laboratory.
• LIA (International Associated Laboratories), IEA (International Emerging Actions), …
• all types of research contracts (ANR, European, Foundation, regional, industrial, service provision, etc.): set-up, annual and multi-annual monitoring and justification(s).
• 5 ESRF light lines: CRG (Collaborating Research Group Beamlines ESRF).

It acts as an interface with the financial services of the parent organizations: the CNRS Institute of Physics, the Alpes Regional Delegation and the Universities, mainly the Grenoble Alpes University (UGA) and Grenoble-INP.
