The library is a service shared by the 3 physics laboratories (Institut Néel, LNCMI, LPMMC) which are present on the CNRS campus, laboratories including 600 researchers, professors, posts-docs, PhD students and technical staff…
Through its website, researchers can quickly and clearly access to various library resources (online catalogue of books, online access to electronic journals, databases, latest news in scientific and technical information…).
Specialized mainly in the condensed matter physics, the library owns more than 9000 books and provides online access to thousands of journals via 2 portals (BibCnrs and Beluga).
The Institut Néel has its own collection on the HAL platform (multidisciplinary open archive), allowing the access of scientific publications (articles, communications, posters, books, book chapters, dissertations, HDR…) of members of the laboratory.
The library works in association with the libraries of Université Grenoble Alpes, joint ILL-ESRF, LPSC, and it offers a quality service to the community of physicists thanks to this network.
