The CNRS Grenoble Purchasing and Warehouse Service is almost unique compared to the other warehouses of the various other CNRS establishments in France. This is mainly due to the importance and diversity of its stock (more than 3000 references). By going through the SAM to obtain equipment, users are spared the time (and therefore the cost) of issuing an order (which is becoming increasingly complex), verifying delivery, paying the invoice, etc. Since stocks are constantly updated, delivery times are practically zero. This allows the research teams and the various divisions and departments to be very responsive, both in the design and production of new assemblies and in their maintenance.
