Interface Physics-Biology

The research areas at the interface between physics, chemistry and biology involve many researchers, engineers and students from the three departments of the Institut Néel.

These researchers intend to study, manipulate and image cells and animals, and to develop characterization tools dedicated for biological species, from a very fundamental approach to practical applications.

Research axes: from cells and models to novel tools
for bio-interfacing

Organization and activity of biological objects

Manipulation of living matter

Microscopy and spectroscopy for biology
