After being welcomed by the management, he visited the experiments on nano-optomechanics and the generation of photon triplets.
The laboratory warmly thanks Alain Aspect for his visit and the laboratory researchers for the welcome they gave him.
This was followed by an exceptional lecture at the University of Grenoble Alpes (UGA) as part of the International Year of Quantum Science and Technology. Then there was a book signing session for his latest work, “Si Einstein avait su” (If Einstein had known).

About Alain Aspect
Alain Aspect is Director of Research Emeritus at the French National Center for Scientific Research, Professor at the Institut d’optique Graduate School, Professor at the École polytechnique, and Affiliated Professor at the École normale supérieure Paris-Saclay. He is a member of the French Academy of Sciences and the Académie Française.
