Spotlight on the “quantum plan”

The President Emmanuel Macron presented Thursday, January 21st, 2021 a national investment plan of 1.8 billion euros in quantum technologies.

Grenoble, l’Institut Néel (15′), l’UGA, other research organizations and Vincent Bouchiat (14′) were mentioned by the President.

CNRS press conference was held on Friday, January 22nd, 2021 around quantum technologies and associated fundamental research.
Among the experts invited to this press conference were Alexia Auffèves (researcher in fundamental research at Institut Néel/CNRS) and Tristan Meunier (researcher specializing in quantum computing at Institut Néel/CNRS).
