Congratulations to Sylvie Zanier and Julien Delahaye,
winners of the 2022 Jean Perrin Prize!

Each year, the French Physical Society (SFP) awards the prestigious Jean Perrin Prize to researchers who have made significant contributions to the dissemination and popularization of physics.

This Friday, July 12, 2024, Sylvie Zanier (Associate Professor at the University of Grenoble Alpes) and Julien Delahaye (Research Scientist at the Institut Néel/CNRS) were honored for their exceptional work and commitment to promoting science to the general public.

The laboratory management and colleagues congratulate Julien Delahaye for his ongoing commitment to the popularization of science in multiple forms, carried out with great talent. He has successfully made complex concepts accessible to the general public through his public lectures, workshops for children and adults in schools, middle schools, prisons, and disadvantaged neighborhoods, his regular participation in science festivals, training sessions for elementary and middle school teachers, and his collaboration with a theater troupe.

A well-deserved recognition of their exceptional contributions highlighting the importance of scientific communication and education in our society.
