The first MEET@NEEL Scientific Day was held on Wednesday December 11, 2024 at the Institut Néel  

This event was part of the MEET@NEEL project, co-funded by the European Union and the Auvergne Rhône-Alpes Region, to stimulate technological innovation and fundamental research in the field of new materials development.

The program included scientific presentations highlighting the major role of electron microscopy in the development of new materials, followed by a buffet to encourage discussion, and visits to the JEOL NEOARM electron microscope.

The first edition of the event was a resounding success, with some 50 participants from R&D centers and academic laboratories in a variety of fields. Institut Néel is already working on the program for the 2025 edition.
