As associated professor, my current research and technological interests focus on nanophysics: (1) micro and nano-manipulation by scanning force microscopy or active micro-tools (micro-tweezers) controlled through haptic systems; (2) local force measurements by SFM as EFM on Semiconductor sample (past activity) and MFM on micromagnet array.
Recently I have oriented my research activity in nano-biomechanics on soft materials in particular study of biological cell mechanical properties at nanoscale by combining AFM and fluorescent microscopies
I am also involved in Nanosciences education innovations through practical works and interactive instruments (Force Feedback Nanomanipulator) developments.
