Optique & Microscopies

Analyser des échantillons par l’utilisation d’outils multi-techniques comme les microscopies électroniques, les techniques en champ proche, les spectroscopies et les outils laser / optique

Présentation

This multi-technical team manages the laboratory equipment and provides expertise in the following areas: Raman spectroscopy and optical spectrometry (UV-Vis/IR, photoluminescence), laser experiments (with pulsed sources, CW to fs), transmission electron microscopy (TEM), cathodoluminescence and atomic force microscopy (AFM).

The AFM platform was equipped at the end of 2019 with a new microscope offering state-of-the-art characterization possibilities.

The Optics and Microscopies team has been carrying the project of acquiring a state-of-the-art TEM for 8 years, to enable researchers to develop and characterize materials with new properties in a controlled manner at the atomic scale. This project has been completed in 2022 with the arrival of a new state-of-the-art TEM.

In 2022, the Optics platform was equipped with a new spectrofluorometer that can be used for photoluminescence and lifetime analysis of powders, liquids, solids and thin films. This apparatus is equipped with a very varied environment (cryostat, linkam, Eclipse microscope, opo laser, laser diodes, remote fibers…).

The new Raman spectroscopists of the laboratory call upon the pole to develop setups in extreme conditions (High Pressure, Very Low Temperatures, UHV).
