"Electronic cooling and heat transport in quantum devices"
Heat transport in quantum electronic devices can reveal physics that is not accessible when only charge transport is considered. Electronic cooling and thermometry in a tunnel junction between a superconductor and a normal metal is now well-known and can be used as a basis for further studies. In particular, the thermal conductance of a Single Electron Transistor is driven by a gate potential and violates the Wiedemann-Franz law. When a quantum dot is used as the central island, electron transport exhibits new features such as monochromaticity.
