Low temperature electronic transport

The team has access to dilution refrigerators dedicated to low noise electronic transport from direct current (DC) to radiofrequency (RF).
We currently have two dilution refrigerators dedicated to electronic transport. One of them with a base temperature of 40mK is optimized for DC measurements and has an additional magnetic field of up to 6T. We use standard low noise amplifiers/sources and lock-in techniques at room temperature. The other system is an inverted dilution (made at Néel Institute, see photo and visit page for more details), reaching a base temperature of 15 mK. In addition to DC capabilities, this one has several lines dedicated to RF measurements. We use low noise cryogenic amplifiers in addition to room temperature electronics.
