EuHIT — FP7 Infrastructures (2013)

EuHIT is an international scientific mobility programme for researchers engaged in the turbulence research. It provides free transnational access to cutting-edge European facilities and scientific support of 21 partners representing both academia and industry. Support for the ERC comes through its Integrated Infrastructure Initiative FP7-INFRASTRUCTURES-2012.

The primary primary goal of the project is to significantly advance the competitiveness of the European turbulence research with special focus on providing the knowledge for technological innovation and for addressing grand societal challenges.

The role of Institut Néel is to develop next-generation instruments for cryogenic turbulence (through Joint Research Activities ) to maintain at the leading edge the EuHIT low temperature turbulence infrastructures located in Grenoble, Trieste, Geneva, Prague and Brno.
