"Temperature dependent memory in electron glasses"
Abstract
Electron Glasses are highly disordered electronic systems having strong Coulomb interactions. The electric conductivity of these systems exhibits glassy phenomena such as slow relaxation to equilibrium, aging and memory effects. In my talk I will review the current state of the field of electron glasses. I will then present recent results obtained on discontinuous metal films. These films show unique temperature dependence of the dynamics ; among other features they demonstrate a crossover from classic to quantum glassy behavior and selective memory with regard to temperature. The significance of the results will be discussed.
