ICON 2013 — International Conference on One-dimensional Nanomaterials
We invite you to attend the 5th International Conference on One dimensionnal Nanomaterials ICON 2013. It will be held in September 2013 in Annecy in the French Alps.
The last four conferences were held in Taiwan (2005), Lund in Sweden (2007), Atlanta in the US (2009), Beijing in China (2011) and were highly successful, as concerns both the level of participation and the high quality of the science presented.
Scope and topics : This conference aims to provide an overview of the most recent advances in one-dimensional nanostructures made of semiconductor or metal materials. A broad range of subjects will be covered, from materials science to basic physics and device applications. Particular attention will be devoted, but not limited to :
Fabrication
Nanoelectronics
Photonics
Spintronics
Sensors
Hybrid structures
Energy storage and conversion
Transverse subjects such as modeling and advanced characterization techniques will also be addressed.
